I've been a Glover fan for years now but I never thought about joining an lj community about it for some reason...until now that is! :D Anyhoo, I figured I couldn't just show up empty handed either so I made a video staring The Creepy Thin Man 'cause...I dunno it was all I could come up with *shrugs* Enjoy! lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLE23XP6-Bw

I'm definitely going to the Saturday Indiana one and I'm hoping to go to the Wisconsin one. I already bought my ticket but there is a chance I may not go since I need to take off work. And I live in Chicago, IL.
Who's buying tickets right now for either of them? I have never been to show though I've adored him since Willard. I've read a lot of non-fan reviews and it seems like a lot of pretentious artsy people go to his shows so I don't know how many real-crispin-fans there will be there versus people that were like "oh its george mcfly, that sounds interesting" and went. Anyway, I would be completely up to meeting up with any fans. I'm a 22 year old female fyi.
Especially if I go to the wisconsin one because I would probably be going alone.. especially if anyone in the chicago area, or anywhere that hits between chicago and the destinations (indianapolis or milkwaukee) wants to carpool!
This part: "Indianapolis Indiana May 28 and 29 2009 Details to be announced"
Got me so excited and my hopes up... but he hasn't updated anything! Nothing! I've googled it, the dates, Indiana, etc.. nothing.. its in 2 days. I'm afraid its actually happening but he's not going to put up info online, but I guess the more likely reason is that its not happening, although I got my hopes up =(
Has anyone heard anything about this? Or actually in the Indianapolis area and could look around the area, see if any independent theaters have any info or anything? Sigh, Mr. Glover you make me very sad.
Nancy Juvonen, a producer of the "Charlie's Angels" franchise, held a press conference recently for her new film, He's Just Not That into You. She answered some speculation regarding the new movie, and the possibility of Crispin Glover reprising his role.
My name's Jacky, and I joined this community a while ago, but have yet to post. :) I love Crispin Glover, and this community has some excellent posts! I love reading accounts of fans meeting Mr. Glover and squeeing! :) Also, some of the pictures and videos here are made of pure win. :)
I actually went to see his film It is Fine! Everything is Fine at the Castro Theater on Friday. And met the man himself *dead*. X) It was probably the most thrilling moment of my life!!!
I posted a picture and the account at my LJ because I was a bit out of my mind when I wrote it. XD
Yay! Another Crispin Glover dream! I think it's because I haven't seen a movie with him in it for awhile.
I was married to this rich guy, and all we (me n another girl) did was sit around his fabulous indoor pool (with stained glass windows?? i dunno, my brain is weird). Well our rich guy, that I never actually saw, had a party at his house. I was wearing a fur coat and a little tiny bikini, and floating around on one of those pool rafts. Miraculously the coat never got wet. I floated over to a table where a reporter was sitting, and ta-da! Crispin Glover! He was dressed really dorky. He had on this nerd glasses and striped suspender, with striped pants. I got out of the pool and started talking to the reporter, and then realized Mr. Glover was sitting right there!! So I started freaking out and making noises about how much I adore him. The reporter laughed and then introduced me, but Mr. Glover got up and started playing with the pool water. I kept trying to give him my business card, but to no avail.
I was just viewing Crispin Glover on IMDB.com and it says he's going to play Grendal in the movie version of Beowulf. I don't know how long anyone else has known that but I don't go on that website much. It just made me amused. :D
P.S. To anyone new here and I never said it: Welcome!
Hello everyone. I know you're out there, somewhere. Some of you may know me from the "other" Crispin Glover community (and there really is only one other). But sadly, that community has no rules or regulations posted, not even the basic "be nice to people" that is often thought of as a given. There is also no moderator around to help out should conflicts arise. I'm probably being overly dramatic about all this, but I personally don't like being harrassed in a place where I have no one to turn to for help.
That being said, I would like to ask how everyone in this community feels about fan fiction. I tend to write a fair amount of it, and there is a Crispin fan fic community, but the moderator seems to have disappeared off the face of the internet, and no one really is aware of it. I know it says in the info that we should feel free to share anything Crispin-related, but I just thought I would ask if anyone minded about my sharing my writing.
As for my official introduction, I'm not really sure what to say. I can't pick just one favourite Crispin film, but some of his characters that I really love are the Thin Man, Jules Langdon, Howdy, Bartleby, and Willard. I'm very grateful to everyone on youtube who's posted Crispi-related videos for our viewing pleasure XD. I'm always looking for new articles and interviews, and I'm always up for discussion about anything Crispin-related.
Crispin Glover's F13 Part 4 Dance! (81 total words in this text) Printer-friendly page After letting us into his house and talking with the man about his latest movie, What Is It? (read the whole article here), Crispin Glover informed us that the infamous dance he did in Friday the 13th Part IV was actually set to AC/DC’s "Back in Black", but a different song was featured in the film. Check out the man and his moves set to the original music below!
This is my first time posting, so please be gentle with me if I'm doing this wrong, they're already here and I missed it. I'm not quite sure how you put a bunch of photos into an album with a link here yet. As I've never done it before. Sorry if I'm killing bandwidth. Anyway...
These are from Epic Movie, which I loved. I just noticed watching that film that it's the first movie I've ever seen him smile in it. Well, when he's not acting nuts in it. (Case in point, the end of Willard, another fave of mine.)
